Jeannie Valkevich

Jeannie leads accelerator programs at Acumen, a global non-profit venture fund that invests in entrepreneurial leaders tackling problems of poverty. In her role, she manages accelerators for nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs, and supports leaders across sectors as they work to generate new sources of mission-aligned revenue and scale their enterprises. Prior to joining Acumen, she worked at Teach For America, managing school partnerships and leading community strategy and operations in Oakland. She started her career as a middle school classroom teacher in San Francisco. Jeannie holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA from Dartmouth College. She’s based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
