Jennifer Boone

Jennifer comes to Brighter Bites from PRO*ACT, a national network of produce distributors. There, she was responsible for developing wholesale markets for local farms by helping them prepare for and access third party food safety audits and connecting them with wholesale buyers. Additionally, she worked with members of PRO*ACT to promote sustainability, especially through waste reduction, along the entire fresh produce value chain. Jennifer graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in ecosystem management and completed a college internship in agriculture and natural resource policy in Washington, D.C.
